What happened to Bob from 8-10a??I love The Bob Newhart Show and was just getting used to tuning in when I get up in the morning, and this morning I find that he's gone and the Golden Girls are back on. Not that I don't love the Girls - I do, I do - but they're on at night too, so it was nice having Bob in the morning and the Girls at night. I know Bob is on at 2a but I'm asleep.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??I guess we need to whine and cry as much as the Olden Girls fans do, WAAAAAH. It was the only show that I liked on this commercial crazy channel.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??LOL - thanks, yeah I guess the ones who cry the loudest are the ones they'll hear. Maybe they should give Bob part of Frasier's slot in the evenings. I like Frasier too, just not 2 hours' worth every evening.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??so very typical of Hallmark channel....just when something that I happen to like comes on they change it without warning....did not watch this channel at all during the month of december when all those sappy movies were on...seriously, how many times can they show the same old Golden Girls episodes..I noticed Bob is on in the middle of the night, at least another channel shows him in the evening.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??I was very disappointed this morning when Bob and his gang were not on! I don't mind the Girls either,
but sometimes having something different is refreshing. I think Hallmark should return to the schedule they had.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??Lucy - thanks, yeah December was rough having to endure those awful holiday movies every night. I see the 64 in your name. I was born in 1964 - maybe you were too, so it's no wonder we like Bob! And I know the channel that has Bob in the evenings - they also have Mary Tyler Moore, another of my favorites. If they'd add the Carol Burnett Show, they'd have our old Saturday night lineup from the 70s.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??Yep Kat, you guessed it 1964...maybe there can be a compromise...1 hour of Bob and 1 hour of the Golden Girls in the morning? And yes, I watch Mary too. Would love to see the Carol Burnett Show too! Would love to see other "classic" shows too such as the Mothers-In-Law, but I will take what I can get!
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??Ah, the Mothers-in-Law, yes I vaguely remember that show. And I agree - Golden Girls are on 4 hours a day so they could give up at least one hour to make room for Bob.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??Very disappointed this morning when I turned on Hallmark looking forward to seeing Bob Newhart and saw that the Golden Girls was back on - what happened to Bob Newhart? Give us a break from the Golden Girls - enough is enough already and you can get rid of Frazier too - it's about time to see something else and Bob Newhart was and is refreshing. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??They said on www.sitcomsonline.com's news blog that the ratings for The Bob Newhart Show weren't very good, and that,I guess was the reason for the change.Bummer.The Bob Newhart Show was a refreshing change.A better time slot would be in the afternoon, either early, mid or late afternoion.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??
I agree with you about the 2 hours worth thing. If Hallmark really wants to be the best channel on TV, then they need to do just 1 or 2 shows back to back, nothing more. This gives them the time-slot room to air more different shows to please us all. Why they like to go over-board with their programs is beyond me!
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??I think Bob Newhart is one of those shows that slowly grow on people, I haven't seen it for years and a lot of people have never seen it. If they had given it some time, I think most people would really enjoy it. Maybe we should all get together and start requesting in back on, replacing the MASH timeslot at 5pm. Pacific time would be my choice.
BRING BACK BOB NEWHART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??it makes me crazy when they say "the ratings weren't that good" how can they get decent ratings when no one even knows what is on?? I didn't see any advertising for the Bob Newhart show, I happened to see it in the TV listing...and how long was it on? Didn't even have a chance to gain an audience. It would be nice to see other classics rather than several hours of the same show.
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??I have be on this sight for over 4 year now and two of them crying about the golden girls and the never ending marathon of them . Last year it was Frasier and the golden girls fans cry and they change it back. I have been on face book and all the golden girls fans are crying we need the golden girls back . Me and two other keep asking them not to bring them back at 8 am but that 3 to 10000 of the golden girls fans. Hallmark responds to you on face book on here you are luck if they help you with something.I think it's time for a change on the Hallmark channel and put the Bob Newhart show back at 8 am and live the golden girls at midnight where belong.Maybe if we could get more people from here to go to face book and cry we don't want the golden girls at 8 am we want Bob back it could work !!!
Rest in peace Sherlock we will miss you !!!!!
Re: What happened to Bob from 8-10a??We all need to get together and request this show back, I put it in under another post, let's try and get it back at a decent hour.
