Nellie vs. Nancy-

Which did you like better?I liked Nellie a lot better than Nancy("you hate me!").Both were not very nice,but at times Nancy was downright mean.Meaner than Nellie,even.And remember the episode at the Carnival when Nancy was in the dunking booth tormenting Mrs.Olsen,and Mrs.Olsen swung back her arm,hit the bulls-eye dead on target,and dunked Nancy in the water.LOL!

I think it's pretty hard to tell which one was worse because when you go back on some of the real old ones, you could find out just how mean Nellie was.

I always liked Nellie a lot more! I always loved the rivalry between her and Laura. Laura and Nellie are two of my top three favorite "Little House" characters. I thought Alison Arngrim did such a wonderful job portraying Nellie. After reading Alison's autobiography "Confessions of a Prairie B**ch", it made me appreciate the character of Nellie even more(both from the books and tv series).

I think Nancy was such an obvious duplicate to Nellie, she never went over as well. They also had her say "everyone hates me" so often, it was annoying. Nellie was much more cunning and at times, you could see how she would mature, Nancy, I just couldn't warm too.
