I have contacted Dish network requesting GMC many times. I doubt they ever add this channel.

Two very enjoyable articles. Even though Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman is no longer on the Hallmark Channel, I've been very entertained with how the channel, gmc, has been airing the show. The interviews and promos they've been doing with Joe Lando have been fantastic. They even made a really cool website for Dr. Quinn.

However what's been getting me excited for will come in less than five days. On September 6th, the channel will premiere Season 6 for the first time since its original run. Television can't get better than this!!

Then switch to DirecTV. They are missing way less channels than Dish. DishNetwork's target consumer is not exactly the type that would watch GMC.

I agree! Hallmark is an awesome channel, but their programming has become dull! I believe if they would mix it up with all the GREAT shows...NOT just one for hours and hours...They would become a great family channel again! Cable has become repetitive and boring. Play the same stuff over and over for hours on end. WHY??? When there is so MANY options out there that we all loved!!

Hallmark needs to strive to be more like GMC (Gospel Music Channel, ya, no music I know, but I hear they will be changing their name soon) which does show Dr. Quinn, along with Touched by an Angel, The Waltons, 7th Heaven, and Judging Amy.
