Not necessarily Hallmark movies, but new movies you've just seen or are planning to see, your favorites and movies that have touched or inspired you or have stayed in your mind for years.. Please tell us what you enjoyed about them. If there are movies you didn't care for, let us know.

Has anyone seen Julie & Julia? What did you think of it?

I really liked The Blind Side. It's inspirational.

I saw Julia and Julia and I really enjoyed it...very cute!
I am looking forward to seeing The Blind Side; it's on my Netflix queu for later this month. I just saw The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and I loved it. It was SO funny! (Well, I thought it was!)
Right now I have Did You Hear About The Morgans?...it should be good, I hope! Hopefully I will watch it later tonight.

I saw "The Time Travler's Wife." I read the book a long time before the movie, and anyone who hasn't read the book will be confused with the movie. I love all the "Harry Potter", Lord of the Rings, Narnia and American Girl movies. I also love The Addams Family movies,Planes,Trains and Automobiles, Me,Myself and Irene,Masterpiece Theater productions, all of the "Anne of Green Gables" movies except "A New Beginning."
I love 10 Things I hate about You. And tonight I saw "Save the Last Dance", which I haven't seen in over nine years or so. I was a big fan of Julia Stiles while I was in high school, and I still like her acting today. I thought the "Julie and Julia" movie felt like a cliff notes to the book...as there is so much more to the story. I thought the movie was done in a terrific way, and I understand you can't put everything from the book into the movie.
I got Amelia from Netflix, but haven't watched it yet. I love history, and remember Amelia Earnhart's story well from when I was first told it in grade school. I also love the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" movies, and I was a big fan of the Turtles when I was a kid.

My all time favorite movies are Casablanca and Gone With the Wind. I'd like to check out Julie and Julia. It looked like it would be good.

I bought "The Blind Side" for all to watch while everyone was here this past week. It was truly an inspirational and heart warming story. We all loved it! I just ordered "Julie and Julia" and can't wait to see that.

Yes "Amelia" is a great movie! There's a book that came out recently with new evidence that Amelia Earhart was on an island for seven days, before perishing. I want to read that book. That's cool you like "10 things I hate about you", and I saw parts of Dragonheart, but I would love to see it in it's entirety. This is a link to the Amelia Earhart book: http://www.amazon.com/Finding-Amelia-St ... 924&sr=1-5 . I also forgot to mention "Lemony Snicket: An series of unfortunate Events" and the "Love Comes Softly" saga...I love both the books and movies/movie.

My favorite movies are all the Twilight films, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2. I love the Judy Moody movie, because it was really done well and faithful to the books. The new Jane Eyre. I'm looking forward to Breaking Dawn Part 2, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Hunger Games movie(I love the books), and that's all I can think of at the moment.

I love Here to Eternity with Burt Lancaster and Debra Carr, Gone with The Wind & anything with Vivien Leigh in it and Troy Donahue still makes me melt. I also liked The Bridges of Madison County, but I think Hollywood has not produced magnificent "love stories" in a very, very long time.
We need The Golden Girls,Please.

The four most recent movies that I've seen that I really liked were "Eat, Pray and Love," "The Fighter," "Bridesmaids" and "The Help." Bridesmaids had some scenes that had me laughing my butt off. There were some pretty good scenes in "The Help."

I saw The Fighter and The Help and liked them both. I might see Bridesmaids if I run across it someday on cable. I will never see Eat, Pray, Love.
