Does no good if they won't show it. Hours and hours of Grossanne every day, hours and hours of Everybody Loathes Raymond every day ...a couple of episodes of MASH buried at 4AM. And now they've taken those off! Then we got 4 episodes on Sunday night ...now that's down to three.

As for Hallmark, they can't stop brown-nosing that frumpy ex-con Martha Stewart to pay any attention to what viewers actually want (if she weren't rich as Croesus every station around would have dumped her like yesterday's news). I will give them credit for running Frasier (though I fully expect them to soon drop that also).

TVLand does not have full exclusive rights to Mash. I don't know where you got that nonsense. There are at least 3 other national channels that run Mash episodes.

I recommend that everyone check their provider as MEtv has now gone national and runs 1-1/2 hours of Mash every day. Lets hope this marathon brings the show back to regular rotation on HC. Your former regulars would come back in droves.

But MEtv, like ION, is small and has poor distribution. In most areas you must subscribe to a couple of extended cable packages to receive either. Hallmark and TVLand are basic cable in most places.

MASH was nominated for, and won more, awards than any other shows run by these networks. It was a consistent ratings leader in first run and rerun programming. Why these stations treat it like a stepchild when it comes to scheduling is beyond me.

Given the obvious popularity of MASH, I fail to see why Hallmark can't dump one episode of "Little Outhouse On the Prairie" each afternoon and air a couple of episodes of MASH. And/or replace a couple of episodes of "Golden Girls" each morning with a couple of episodes of MASH.

I have an easy way to avoid all the complaining about who is showing the series and when. BUY THE DVDS!

I have all 11 seasons and I'm about to start Season 7.

Mash is shown on ME channel (memorable entertainment), a great channel that plays nothing but the old programs. Dump Hallmark and watch ME or Inspirations channel, another good one.
