A lot of people enjoy watching the holiday movies until the new year. I am one of those people, and I am very disappointed because I no longer get the hallmark movie channel. I am trying to get them to make a deal with AT&T U-verse just to get the channel back. Be glad you still have the channel. A perfect Christmas present would be the Golden Girls on DVD. Then you can watch them as much as you like, whenever you want. Maybe you can add it to your wish list this year and Santa will bring it. Have a happy holiday season.

LoveHallmark wrote:As part of our Christmas time celebration, we love to watch great Christmas movies. Hallmark Channel has us all set with quality Christmas movies! The only problem is, they have not shown one of their new movies enough--yep, that movie is "An Old-Fashioned Christmas". According to their schedule about a week or so ago, they were going to re-air it 2 times today. But then they took it off the schedule (and practically off the website altogether).

We are SO very dissappointed. Why do they re-air all the other movies, but not this one?!?!?! There is still time to reschedule!!! Afterall, it doesn't matter what the TV Guide says. Tonight it said "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" was going to air at 7pm Central. But, nope--it's "Eloise at Christmastime". So, don't worry about the TV Guide being wrong, Hallmark Channel. You could put it in somewhere--even if it's in the middle of the night. It would be better than nothing. Thank you!

I am also very disappointed. The schedule for the holiday movies is very repetitive. They air the same movie over and over again. They did air a few new holiday movies but I kind of miss "Borrowed Hearts," "Holiday to Remember," and "Holiday Affair" with David James Elliott and Cynthia Gibb. These and I am sure a few more were never aired. It would have been nice to see a few others and not the same again and again. Thank you

Your memories sound much like ours, sleighbell1. :) Once Thanksgiving is here, I just can't wait to put up the tree, decorate the mantle and decorate the house both inside and out. Baking and Christmas music are some of the other things I love about the season. Mass on Christmas Eve is still a tradition with us.

I'm sorry, but i find it quite rediculous that the hallmark channel starts their Christmas movies in the beginning of NOVEMBER. whatever happened to thinking about the Christmas season AFTER Thanksgiving????

I look forward to the Christmas movies, so I love seeing them in November. My two favorites of the last two years are The Christmas Card and It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. I even liked the Witch movie.

I really can't stand the all day and all night christmas movies. I need the comedy of Frasier, The Golden Girls and I Love Lucy. To play these movies all day and all night long is just overboard. Also, why are we starting the Christmas Season before Thanksgiving??? So now, viewers, like me, have to withdraw from Hallmark to find our comedy elsewhere.

Once I withdraw from something, I don't go back. Thank goodness TVLand doesn't do this....... :x

I'm getting the kids ready for Halloween. We get toys from a state eligible network.Lucky for the kids that our state provides them with gifts we could never afford!
