Mother's Day

I lost my mother five years ago, and she was a very special lady. It just don't seem that she's been gone that long. But, I still honor her memory every Mother's Day by doing a little something that she enjoyed doing. Not just on Mother's Day, but there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her. One day, I will rejoice in Heaven with the Savior Jesus Christ, and be able to see my mother once again.

I know that there are some mothers who haven't been very good ones, but I say this to the ones who have mothers who have been very loving and giving and dedicated. Please cherish her.

So nice to read your post, bluebirdinthesky! I lost my mom almost 12 years ago and can't believe (like you) that she has been gone so long. I miss her everyday and so often wish I could talk to her about so many things. Shewas a great mother who devoted her life to raising a wonderful family of 8 children and taking care of our Dad. I know I would not be the person I am today without her love and guidance. God bless all mothers!

Thank you for sharing your fond memories about your mother. It's nice to be able to remember all the good times, and that's what I try to focus on.
