Martha, from clip from Dave show regarding prison stint, "I don't get it. It's odd that something like that defines a person." Why so serious?

Martha had to make a "big deal" today on her blog about the "apology" flowers Dave sent her after he mentioned her prison stint on his show on Friday. She made a big deal of him mentioning it and got her feathers ruffled on air. He is not apologizing for the fake food fight they had. Why can't he joke about it? She should be able to as well since despite prison she is still rich and all over the Hallmark Channel. How many get a second chance like that? I wonder how many ex-cons get a second chance working for Martha Stewart. I'm thinking of a number. Can you guess?

It's a late night talk show there is supposed to be a certain amount of irreverence. She also gets a larger audience than she ever gets for her Martha Show to hawk her brand and ideas to turn into profits. She may as well get used to the fact that the prison stint will always be part of her biography.

Poor Martha has a horrible life. Must be a terrible burden to have to go on Dave Letterman and be "insulted" and then have to receive his "deserved" apology with expensive flowers.

Dear, Martha lighten up. I wish you well but be at least as thick skinned as you expect your employees and customers to be.
