Tuched by an angel or will it be Little House. We know it wont be the golden girls wich need to be taking off . I know i am sick of the golden girls. Oh i forgot don't say anthing bad about the golden girls or Martha Stewart . That another show that need to go Martha Stewart can't stand her.

I like Hallmark for its variety. It has what I believe to be a perfect balance of comedies and dramas, and programming for every taste.

"Empty Nest" has never been a favorite of mine, but it makes for something to add to the variety for those who like it.

If you like sitcom and Martha Stewart then you have variety . I would like to know what shows Hallmark is taking off??? I would say it will be Tuched by an Angel or Little House. We all know it wont be any sitcom. This channel has gone from a family channel to a Martha Stewart ,sitcom channel. This channel has become a wast of air time.

I agree with Pocket of Pearls. Why is there always a great big fuss when Hallmark puts a sitcom on? Is Hallmark supposed to be the drama only channel? Variety is the spice of life. There should be PLENTY of room for family-oriented shows, drama, comedies, life-style shows, sentimental favorites, etc. Just because Hallmark adds a show to their line-up, doesn't mean that they are necessarily taking a show off.

For the record, if I did have the Hallmark Channel, I probably wouldn't opt to watch Empty Nest, since it wasn't a show that I didn't watch when it was originally aired. But I do think it has as much a right to be a part of Hallmark's line-up as LHOTP, Touched By An Angel, Seventh Heaven, etc,. That's just my opinion.

Smile. Variety is the spice of life.

I want 7th heaven to come back!!!!!!!!! and all they keep doing is adding more sitcoms... yes variety is the spice of life -- but hallmark doesn't know variety -- It is supposed to be a family channel -- how much more family oriented can you be with shows like LHOP and 7th Heaven? Empty nest should be on nick at night -- so should Frasier -- 7th heaven should come back instead.... just my two cents

Funny. In one breath you agree that variety is the spice of life, but in the next - from your post - Hallmark doesn't have any business adding sitcoms to their schedule. IF the only shows Hallmark has in their schedule is "family oriented" then how is that variety? Shouldn't a variety of shows include "family oriented," dramas, sitcoms, comedies, and lifestyle shows? Or do I misunderstand the meaning of the word variety?

Hallmark may be trying to broaden their horizon. That's may be why they are including sitcoms to their line up. Would you go to a Hallmark gift shop and tell them to get rid of their whimsical, humorous cards and gifts?

Yes, I agree that LHOTP is "family" oriented, but why shouldn't there be an allowance for a wider variety of shows?

I appreciate your giving your opinion. Well, I just gave mine.

Same old story, isn't it SR52? How many times do you suppose we have been down this road????? I think Hallmark has evolved into a channel that offers all types of "variety" instead of just family dramas. Like you, my idea of variety includes dramas, comedies, lifestyle shows and of course movies. Hallmark is just trying to keep up with the stiff competition out there these days!!

And through the blue heavens above us,
The very clouds move on.

I wish we had a like button like Facebook has or a way of rating comments the way the CBS community does.
