Pleeeeeeese........bring the good shows back!

Why does the hallmark channel keep messing with these shows. Take Martha Stewart off, move the Waltons to 1-3 am, move the Golden Girls to 3-5 am, and put Empty nest back on in the day time and also put Who's the Boss back on during the day. What's so hard about that. I can't believe that, that many people actually watch Martha Stewart and the Waltons to keep them on in the daytime. Please return the GOOD show's. You could even toss in some Partridge Family during the day. That wouldn't hurt your ratings at all.

I really feel for you, montanacowgirl2000. While I like Empty Nest, too, I am one of those Walton fans. I vividly remember how I, and all my fellow fans, felt when Hallmark pulled the show from their lineup and never brought it back until just recently. That was almost 2 long years ago!! We all felt as you do but never gave up. We continually petitioned Hallmark to bring back the show, but all our petitions fell upon deaf ears. Some stopped watching Hallmark all together while many of us just waited patiently. It was a long wait but it finally happened!! My point is to tell you not to give up on your favorite show and continue to let Hallmark know you want it back in the daytime linehup. There is always hope! Good luck!

I'm starting to think the Hallmark people like stirring up controversy. They are probably all so bored from some of the dud shows that are on that they pull and rearrange shows on purpose for their own entertainment. I totally agree I have sent many, many requests to bring back I Love Lucy and FINALLY they have, thank God but you never know when the rug may be pulled out from underneath you. I like the Golden Girls but not 2 marathons a day, I like Empty Nest and can't wait until that comes back on. Heck I would even like to see some of the older shows like Dick Van Dyke, Patty Duke, Petticoat Junction all of the old classics are probably collecting dust about now when viewers would love to see them!

It would be nice if the programmers at Hallmark channel and Hallmark movie channel would listen to the fans. I know there are always circumstances around programming. They have to consider the air times in all time zones and there is always the issue of licencing and the outragous costs the distributors want for the shows. With that being said, I suggested before that instead of two hour blocks of comedies just do one hour giving the ability to air more shows. I was so excited to see Empty Nest added to the line up only to have it relegated to 1 AM. Likewise I know they signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with Martha but trying to push her shows in primetime isn't going to draw more viewership it will only drive loyal Hallmark views away. Likewise they do the same programming errors over at Hallmark Movie with extended blocks of Murder She Wrote and Matlock. I constantly review the site "By The Numbers" which gives the rating for time periods, networks, etc and the numbers do not lie, Hallmark is losing viewers since they signed Martha. You would think that the programmers at Hallmark would look at this issue and knowing they can not remove Martha until her contract is up, would use a better programming strategy for the balance of their schedule. Please put Empty Nest on at a better time!

I sooooo agree....my day off and I so look forward to watching golden girls and hopefully empty nest....I can handle frasier, but the rest???? gag, how much martha and the waltons can one take.

I think you are all forgetting that the Waltons was one of the biggest attracters that Hallmark ever had. Now that it is back after almost 2 yrs., they are airing it often enough to recapture the viewers that were lost when the show was removed from the schedule. It may take time, but the loyal viewers will return and Hallmarks ratings will improve!!! Nothing at all wrong with Empty Nest, Golden Girls, Lucy etc...they are all great shows. The thing is to offer a variety for all viewers. We need to ask for a schedule to include all of our favorites not to remove a particular show just because you ( meaning anyone) don't like it!!

You all are right. They DON'T care. I was on a studio tour in CA. and I asked a worker there about why they ignore the viewers. I was told it has nothing to do with the demand of the public, but it is what the SPONSER wants. Who knew. So we just have to change the channel or do like me, buy as many shows that are available on dvd and you won't have to depend on them for your fix. I am so sick of them calling the shots and thinking THEY know what they're doing. So when I get fed up with what comes on next, I yell at the tv. turn my tv input to dvd and pop in a disk. Then I feel like I'M in control!
