The Ending

***SPOILER ALERT***
I was looking foward to seeing this movie since they started advertising several weeks ago. I even set my DVR to record. I enjoyed the movie up until the end.....then I was confused :? :
I have never read the book, so maybe the end of the movie was keeping with the ending of the book, but if this was the case I would hope they would change the movie's end to be more satisfactory. When Katie was in the bus on the way to see her biological mother I was looking foward to the reunion. What would she say? What would her Mother say? I even thought she might discover that the "love of her life" was not dead after all, but living as a musician in New York. The answers were not to come :x : Instead we see Katie on the bus reading a note from her adopted Dad. It was sweet what the note represented along with the fact her Dad came to see her at the bus station despite her having been shuned from her Amish community, but to end the movie with that.... I can only hope there will be a part two  If they don't make a part two, then I demand Hallmark give me back the last two hours of my life. This movie was like reading a good book halfway and never finding out how it ends

The movie covered the first book in a three book series. So the cliffhanger was exactly where the book left you hanging. I hope they do the next two!

I know...I would have liked that closure also...and for the movie to go on for another 2 hrs...it was soo good. But my guess is they have a couple of follow ups coming for us...to complete the series. I hope they get the same main actress....she was great.

Blessings

I too was very disappointed with the ending of the movie. It left to many unanswered questions. I can only hope that there will be a part 2 to this.
