Be careful where you order hallmark movies. The good witches garden I bought online was made by video pirates. It didnt even work in the DVD player. Hallmark didnt release DVDs for this series so if you find them they arent hallmark.

Where did you buy the movies? I saw "The Good Witch" movie on Amazon, and it looked legitimate.

I sent Hallmark an email about airing the upcoming Good Witch's Saga. According to the movie schedule they are planning on skipping the most important one which is the 3rd movie "The Good Witch's Gift." That is when she gets married. Without that one it won't make any sense to those who have not seen that saga for them to see "The Good Witch's Family." I really hope they change their schedule to include the entire 4 movies. The story line for them all will be sort of incomplete if they jump from The Good Witch's Garden right into The Good Witch's Family. I think that one was the best one so far but they are all great. Hope you read these posts Hallmark Movie Team.

At http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/halloween/movies, it says that on Saturday, the 29th, they are showing all three of the previous "Good Witch" movies before they show the new one.

Thanks for the input puppylove and I hope you're right. I just checked again in the EST zone for my state and it says "the good witch" at 3 pm, "the good witch's garden" at 5 pm and then it repeats "the good witch" at 7 pm and then jumps to the new one "the good witch's family" which is shown both at 9 pm and then again at 11 pm. This is on our digital cable. I just rechecked the tv listing page for that on the tv for that time frame and both the 3 and 7 pm ones still say "the good witch" and has the same write up's for both of them as well... stating that it's the 1st episode made in 2008. I hope that it's just a misprint for that second showing at 7 pm and they will show the 3rd episode. Would be nice to see them all. It's a great set of movies and it's nice to finally give kids a 'good witch' image.

I just watched The Good Witch's Family. I was so excited because I absolutely loved the previous 3. They had intrigue, magic, and a comforting home feeling about them. I finished watching the fourth about an hour ago and I am completely disappointed. There were so many missing pieces in this one. It seemed like they tried to keep the magic in this movie, but to no avail. First, where was Grandpa? Second, why was Cassie's shop not the same as it was in the other three movies? Third, why couldn't we go visit Grey House? I understand a house doesn't make a family, but it added a lot to these movies. The house was so mysterious and seemed alive. It played a character in these movies, and without it, this movie was missing something. I also did not like that Cassie became mayor. Since when does a witch want to use up all of her time on political matters. I have to say, however, I did like how it ended. I like that Cassie found out she was pregnant. My only hope is that they choose to live in Grey house and the whole fourth movie was just a dream Cassie had. Sorry to be so negative, but I had high hopes that this movie would have the same wonderful complexities and comforts as its predecessors.

I just watched the fourth one too and was extremely disappointed except right at the end. The other three ( which in my area did show them all even though the cable said they weren't going to) were great successes and held your attention through them all but this fourth one seemed to be missing a lot of the 'spirit' of the other three. I totally agree that it was a let down not to see the gray house or her shop. Cassie just seemed to be out of place in the entire movie and being a mayor won't do her any justice if they make a fifth episode. I think the cousin took away from the movie. It was as if they were making her the star and not cassie and I'm guessing that maybe she will be the star in the next one especially since cassie made reference to her making the town her own as well due to the town being like a big family. I think the whole movie was disruptive and I had a hard time staying with it through the end. It was actually a let down compared to the other three.

I loved this movie, I actually liked it more then the last one. IMO the story didn't need Grey House or the grandpa though they would have been nice to see, maybe they'll be back if we get another one, which I hope we do. I really do wish Hallmark would start releasing more of their movies on dvd or at least start a Made On Demand program like Lifetime and WB, there are so many movies I would love to get.

Love this series!
Did not enjoy this movie as much as the others in the series, but still thrilled with the update on Cassie and family. "The Good Witch's Family" seemed to be hurridly thrown together, with an uneven and underveloped storyline, and several video flaws, but would serve as a good bridge for a 5th film featuring the new baby. The Good Witch movies will keep me tuning in to the Hallmark Channel - keep 'em coming! (Favorite characters in this movie: Cassie, Jake, Derek. Characters missed the most: Grandpa George O'Hanrahan, Gwen, Grey House)

Well, I've found a lot about the movie while trying to find out about the wardrobe but no wardrobe information so far. The movie was filmed in Ontario in two places: Hamilton and Niagra on the Lake. Also when she gives the Shamrock to the grandpa it's a mishap (which may be deliberately done by the producer or director) but none the less, she gives him a 4 leaf clover and a shamrock only has 3 leaves which was used to depict the trinity. I think the 4 leaf clover gave it more witchery appeal though than a three leaf one would have. I scrolled through the movies I taped last night through cable so I could watch them again but they shrink the tv credits for commercials so you can't read the credits very well so that didn't help either for finding out who makes the chothes. If I find out anymore info I'll post it.
